If a mother and father can love more than one child then why is it so hard to understand that a child can love more than one mother and father?

Sleepy Eyes
Dinner Time
What's in the package?
What's in the package?
Trying on a skirt, but she doesn't like the color!
We love a girl with her own opinion on fashion
But this cute tank top will do...
Sleepy eyes
One more cookie before bed
We are happy Mei Mei's sleeping with the soft floral blanket we sent her.
Jie Jie has a matching one at home.
Good night, Wan An sweet sleepy-eyed girl!

Just Add One Princess
We found out today that our Article 5 will be picked up on May 4th,
and we can expect Travel Approval 2-3 weeks later!
Good thing Tian Tian's room is all ready!
We hope she enjoys the Asian flair
I just love this Mother-Daughter artwork
Big Panda waiting with lots of books
We are so grateful for all the clothes
her generous big sister, big cousins, and friends have given her
Closet Envy!

Meltdown
Tian Tian, we know there will be tough times ahead when we meet each other in China, but we are ready to hang in there and comfort you while your little broken heart hurts and then heals as you grieve for your foster family. We expect you to grieve, you are very attached to your foster mother, foster father, and foster sister. Because you have already attached we know you can and will, in time, attach again. We just need to be patient and allow you to see and feel our love and support. We are ready to sing to you, rock you, hold you, and let you see the love in our eyes while you go through the necessary process of grief and healing. We will be patient. We will hold you and support you as you let all your BIG feelings out.

Beautiful Day At The Zoo

Waiting for Travel Approval, Day 29
Slow
Moving
Moon
It started out a slit of light.
Stubbornly, it grew to a crescent.
In this March-April sky,
while I wait to see you for the first time,
its progress seems painfully slow.
Three-quarters now, it will be full in three nights.
Then in reverse, it will shrink to a crescent before I travel.
Eleven long nights.
I have no power to speed the earth's shadow
as it moves across the moon's face.
I think that I may notice each degree of progress.
