Another wonderful day in Guangzhou!
I must clear something up, since I am getting a lot of emails (and I am sorry I cannot answer all the personal emails just yet, I will do so when I arrive back home and have a moment). Yesterday at the medical clinic I didn't ask for a waiver, I didn't know it was possible for a Hague family to get one, it just happened that way. Unfortunately I cannot advise anyone else as to how to go about this. I'm sorry!
Also, thank you to all our family, friends, and other adoptive families who have been following along and leaving comments, it is great to read all the notes and feel the support!
Today we decided not to join our agency's group of families to visit a museum, instead our friends took us to visit the Temple Of The Six Banyan Trees
The monks invited us to join in a vegetarian feast...
tempting, but we were not hungry, having just finished a big breakfast at our hotel
Lucky to be with the "Dream Team" again today
We were blessed by one of the monks
The three big Buddhas represent the past, present, and future
It was OK for us to sit on our knees out of respect
A special prayer was chanted for us
We enjoyed our visit!
"Today is the Tomorrow you worried about Yesterday"
It is so nice to see you, Marla, with all 3 of your children. What a special and moving blessing you received. Love and hugs, the schap 5
