Liuzhou; Tian Tian's City

While driving from Guilin to Liuzhou,
it was nice to have a little Karaoke music in the van

we saw a big truck full of chickens, on their way to the pet store, of course
and a public service announcement for safe driving
this is Liuzhou People's Hospital,
it was mentioned on Tian Tian's paperwork
Liuzhou is a very nice industrial city
very modern
 traditional China mixed in

this is the pet store,

I hope all the chickens made it here safely

I bet Tian Tian had French Fries here
lobby of our hotel
very busy downtown city center

and we stopped for ice cream
views from the hotel room

  1. Marla,

I am following your journey . I visit your block everyday, sometimes three times a day, it is attractive. When I saw the picture that Ava and Jakey ate the noodles and broccolis, I just cannot help laughing...

Ava does not look like what we worried before on how she could survive in China.
She really act like a little Mermaid in the "Chinese sea".

I wonder if some Chinese jumped out of Jakey's throat... and you were understood...

    Talk to you later.

    Kui

  3. To the Chinese Crew: I am soo enjoying your adventure through China. I am especially loving the "pet chickens." I have never laughed soo hard. So excited about tomorrow. What a wonderful way to celebrate the 1st day of Summer, with the welcoming of a new family member. It's also Lucie's bday too!!! Enjoy!
